Whitewater Rafting Action! The mighty Wairoa River is one of New Zealand’s most popular whitewater rafting and recreational rivers.

Grade 2 rapids gradually building to thundering grade 5 rapids amongst native bush & tree-lined gorges. Highly recommended - only available 26 days per year, (mostly on a Sunday).

Scheduled whitewater rafting dates can be confirmed on request.

Bookings are Essential. Minimum 1 passenger per tour. Tour operates all weather. Daily Rafting Schedule: 9.30am, 11.30am, & 1.45pm.

Departs: 30 mins before scheduled times.

Allow 3 hours.

Note: Come prepared with both warm & wet weather gear, swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and a camera. All wetsuits and necessary equipment is provided along with refreshments and lunch. (A BBQ lunch for groups is an optional extra. Please phone for further details.)

Kaituna River Rafting Tour (Daily)

Whitewater Rafting through picturesque and narrow, winding tree lined gorges steeped in local history.

This river boasts the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the southern hemisphere, at 7 meters high it is a whitewater rafing adventure you'll never forget!

Rangitaiki River Rafting Tour (Daily)

Family fun and thrills for all.

The Rangitaiki is a great introduction to whitewater rafting. An adventurous and challenging river for all confidence levels. It is mostly grade 3 whitewater and is open in all seasons.

Enjoy the scenic 14-kilometre watercourse through native and exotic forestlands.
