"The Mount to Maketu Tour"

Travel through ‘The Mount’ & Pilot Bay before following the coastline to top surf beaches, past the Papamoa Hills that feature views of Maori Pa sites, and on to Te Puke (home of the NZ Kiwifruit industry).

At Paengaroa we visit one of New Zealand’s leading producers of Bee and Honey health products. Comvita Visitor Centre offers a glimpse into the health industry and the opportunity to try and purchase products. View the coast of the Bay of Plenty from Maketu Beach.

Optional activities include: Longridge Jet Boat ride on the scenic bush lined Kaituna River (see Adventure Tours for more adventure options). Admire lovingly restored vintage cars & motorbikes at the Te Puke Vintage Auto Barn.

Experience land & track sailing aboard a Blokart International land yacht.

Enjoy a sumptuous range of award-winning wines at Tauranga's Morton Estate and Mills Reef Wineries.

For something special, we visit Prenzel’s at the Mount, a Micro distillery - purveyors of dessert liqueurs and top shelf mixers.

Then it’s on to Brewers Bar - a boutique brewery with a variety of ales brewed on site including the “Terminator” (after one - you’ll be back…!)

This is a B.Y.O. tour, we supply a chilly bin with ice & glasses - you bring the extras.

"To Katikati & Back Tour"

Follow the majestic Wairoa River north - passing Paparoa Marae.

Walk amongst the art and sculptures, admire the gardens and enjoy the interactive displays at the Te Puna Quarry Park.

Visit the distinctive and unique Katikati Mural Town to view its magnificent thirty plus murals that have won international Heritage Awards.

This tour includes entry to Katikati Heritage Museum, before returning via the Minden Lookout to take in amazing views of the Tauranga Harbour, Mt Maunganui, Papamoa Hills & Kaimai Ranges.

Optional activities include: Tauranga nature walks to Kauri Trees, The Katikati Birdgardens, plus wine tasting tours at Tauranga's Mills Reef and Morton Estate Wineries.

"Tauranga Heritage Tour"

Tour in our 1952 Classic London Taxi to:

Elms Mission House: Tauranga’s most famous and oldest historic building features 1830’s settler heritage that includes outbuildings, library, the original Mission House, gardens and orchards. This homestead housed the first settlers and missionaries to the Tauranga area, while playing a part in the history of the Battle of Gate Pa - 1864.

Minden Lookout: See spectacular expansive views that include: Tauranga Harbour, Mount Maunganui, Matakana Island, Papamoa Hills, (learn the local Maori legend of MAUAO here).

Compass Community Village: This early settler village is a working, living, historical environment that features resident local arts and crafts suppliers and Tauranga community groups.
